As a community of practicing osteopaths, we wanted to acknowledge some of the challenges we face when it comes to keeping track of and providing proof of our continued learning journey throughout our career. Converting qualifications and trawling through emails is not the top of our list of priorities. That’s why we’ve simplified our course awards and moved to a credits model.

The SCCO Credits System

For every hour of study you complete with SCCO, you will now earn one credit. Moving to this credit-based model makes it really easy to see how many CPD hours you’ve completed in any 12 month period, and how many hours you have until you’ve completed the Pathway to Fellowship.

Reporting your Learning

You’ll receive a CPD certificate of attendance at the end of every course you complete as normal. You’ll also be able to  see  and report on all your earned credits in the SCCO VLE. Here you can select the time period you need to report on and download a list of all the courses you’ve completed with the SCCO at the touch of a button.
