SCCO Brexit Update
The ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement between the UK and the EU has removed much of the uncertainty of the last few months. Whilst the Trustees had plans is in place to enable the SCCO to continue to work together into the future as the one international community that we value so highly, whatever the position, the move to a transition period confirms that SCCO will operate without change, up until 31 December 2020.
We will keep you informed as to any changes that might be needed after 31 December 2020, once new trade deals, and information sharing, travel and financial agreements are agreed, and we will amend our office working practices accordingly. We do not envisage these will impact on our Faculty, Members and students, except perhaps the possible need for travel visas if travelling between the UK and the EU.
SCCO will continue to provide a full programme of courses in the UK, Germany and Spain, which allow us to be one family, united by the desire to advance and further the education of all Osteopaths, regardless of geographic and political boundaries.
