We are absolutely delighted to announce the next SCCO Conference. This is a two day weekend conference of lectures and workshops which will explore the breath and its role in Health; its many facets from the perspective of the apparatus for gas exchange, embryology, its role in voice, in infancy, in philosophy and theoretical physics and more.
Our insightful and generous speakers come from diverse disciplines including osteopathy, physics and voice. We will deepen our appreciation, curiosity and understanding of this subject which is so fundamental to health in our daily life from the microscopic to the macroscopic. We will consider the ways in which breathing and the breath of life inspire our osteopathic philosophy and practice and connect deeply with the source of life and health.
This course is non-residential but lunch and refreshments on both days will be provided at no extra cost.
A drinks reception is also included on the evening of Saturday 8 June celebrating 150 years of our profession. For catering purposes, please state at the time of booking (where requested) whether you will be in attendance.
